| On Wednesday, June 3, two members of the fire department participated in a specialized training focused on railway incidents. The training included instruction on the hazards of being near train tracks and highlighted the dangers involved in such situations. Participants observed the aftermath of accidents where vehicles were struck by trains while on the tracks.
As part of the training, attendees also had the opportunity to walk through both a locomotive and a tank car. This hands-on experience provided valuable insight into the structure and potential risks associated with trains and railcars.
The training proved to be highly informative, offering new perspectives and enhancing the department’s preparedness for railway emergencies. |
